DUO ALM’ARTIS (harp & voice)

The duo for voice and harp ALM’ARTIS performed for the first time in 2012 at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Limoges on the occasion of its first anniversary of its reopening. Cristiana Eso and Marie-Monique Popesco offer a range of traditional melodies and songs to discover their native country or their parents native country.

 

 

First prize for harp and chamber music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, holder of the CA for harp, Marie-Monique POPESCO leads a double career as teacher and concertist in France and abroad, as a soloist and in chamber music. She teached the harp at the conservatory and still have an important regional influence in Limoges since 2000. Marie-Monique Popesco is also a member of the national juries, of the State Diploma and Certificate of Aptitude competitions as well as professor-tutor of IFEDEM (Institute of Training of Music Teachers) of Rueil-Malmaison (from 1996 to 1998), Bordeaux -Aquitaine (in 2012). In 1994, she created a Harp Duo and founded the Ars Viva trio. She has published a method and two collections for harp published by Editions Musicales G. Billaudot. In Limoges, she founded Le Concours Français de la Harpe, The International HARP Competition in January 2010. Her musical interest led her to take the baton of a chamber orchestra, the Ensemble Instrumental Baroque music, Polymnie. The various reviews received attest to the great musical quality of these concerts.
