December 2019,  Media Library of Limoges. With my editor and very well documented librarians. An event around of Romanian poetry. We made a presentation of my collection of poems « Artisans de l’Invisible – Artisans of the Invisible » and we read some of them in French and Romanian. Readings also poems by great Romanian authors: Mihai Eminescu, Tristan Tzara, Ana Blandiana. We answered questions about poetry history, traditions, translation and had large dialogue with the public. With my friend, the guitarist player Franck Lasteyrie we performed a short (voice and guitar) performance.

The Ex Ponto Magazine (in which I regularly publish poetry) just received the « Ariel Award » of the Writers’ Union of Romania to award the USR awards,an important prize that highlights the important place the magazine has among cultural journals in Romania (2018).

In 2018, I briefly analyzed the concepts of staging in two operas. The theatricality of myth in the musical works Oedipus by George Enescu and Oedipus Rex by Igor Stravinsky
The aim of this lecture is to compare the “theatricality” of two major operas of the twentieth century, Œdipus  Rex by Igor Stravinsky (Jean Cocteau’s libretto) and Œdipe by the composer George Enescu and the writer Edmond Fleg. The “dramatic value” of the text is examined through different analytical tools, while hypothesizing that the originality of the structure of the masterpieces, (combining libretto and music), but also their response may explain their enduring successes and their meaningfulness.
The notion of “theatricality” encompasses not only the metaphor that crosses the poem, but also the concrete scene, the relations between the characters, the conception of the stage, light, images, symbols and other visible elements. In this sense, the staging of a play, the embodiment of the work, is already inscribed in the text, while allowing various interpretations and meaningful deviations. Antonin Artaud, Edmond Fleg and Jean Cocteau, essayists, playwrights and theater directors discussed the notion of « visible speech ».
We will address these scenic issues using the work of the directors Valentina Carrasco (for Œdipe) and Julie Taymor (for Œdipus Rex).
